Mobile Infusion Therapy FAQs

Please reach us at 801-824-0166 or info@theivhaven.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and medications directly into the bloodstream for fast and efficient absorption.

IV therapy can support hydration, recovery, immune support, wellness, and symptom relief for people of all ages. A medical screening is completed before treatment to ensure safety.

Most infusion sessions take between 45-60 minutes for first time clients. Once the medical screening is done, it is good for one year unless there are any changes to health condition or current medications. Infusion visits for repeat clients are typically 30-45 minutes in duration since the medical screening has already been completed. Some specialty infusions, such as NAD+, take longer due to slower drip times.

Your IV is placed and monitored by a licensed, highly trained infusion nurse. Ultrasound-guided IV placement is available for difficult access, which sets IV Haven apart from other local mobile infusion businesses. We invest in more specialized training and state of the art equipment to ensure our clients are getting the best service possible.

Yes. All patients complete a medical intake and Good Faith Exam with a licensed medical provider to ensure IV therapy is appropriate and safe. This will be a 5-10 minute telehealth call with a provider prior to or during your first appointment with us.  This Good Faith Exam stays good for one year, unless there are any major changes to current health status or medications. In that case, a new exam must be completed.

Many patients feel benefits within minutes to hours. Results vary depending on hydration status, deficiency, and overall health.  We do not promise any specific results, as every person can react differently to infusion therapy.

Benefits may last hours, days, or weeks, depending on hydration, lifestyle, overall health, and what specific package was chosen. Our nurses will provide education on the acting duration of specific vitamins, minerals, and medications.

Side effects to infusion therapy are uncommon but may include mild bruising, soreness, or a cool sensation during the infusion. Serious complications are rare and are prevented through our thorough medical screening. Medication side effects can vary depending on what is requested. Your infusion nurse will conduct thorough education on individual treatments prior to administration.

IV Haven offers a variety of infusion options that can be customized to the clients' health needs or goals. We also have plans to expand our services in the future, including cosmetic injections, fillers, peptide injections, microneedling, and laboratory services.

Yes. We offer targeted IV formulas designed to support a variety of wellness and recovery goals.

No. IV therapy supports wellness and symptom relief but does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. We will not treat if we find that treatment is not safe due to current health condition, and instead, you will be advised to seek care from a more appropriate setting, such as a hospital.

Currently, IV Haven is only available in Utah. We service the following counties: Salt Lake, Utah, Summit, Wasatch, and Davis counties. However, we are planning to expand to southern Utah and other nearby states in the future.
